Hello Phil. We met at HELLFEST just after your show. I’m guitarist of the french band GOKAN. (We played on Mainstage too; to remplace Bring me the Horizon earlier in the morning.)
I told you that we recorded a CD (release in October ’09) and there’s a track on it dedicated to Dimebag. I wanted to send you photo taken together and the song in question but i don't know how to do on this site.... Sorry, I'm not very good in computers... But we had left the CD promo in the dressing-rooms to your guitarist. It's track 4 "Frontal"... In case you lost it, and if you want to listen this song, please send me an mail where I can send it to you on MP3.
Sure, we will never have his talent, but we wrote this song with sincerity. For him, for his friends, his family, and to say to all that we’ll never forget him. He will always be in the hearts of the headbangers around the world!!!
